Musk’s core argument in the lawsuit is that OpenAI, under the leadership of Sam Altman, abandoned its original nonprofit mission by transitioning to a for-profit model. This shift is central to his legal claims.
Adding a new dimension to the trial, messages revealed during the proceedings indicate that Shivon Zilis, who is the mother of four of Musk’s children, served as an intermediary between Musk and OpenAI. The trial is expected to continue with further witness testimonies.
